Christmas Rambling

Seven hours of errands including grocery shopping, gift buying and hanging out at the laundry mat washing everything I own.  I’m still trying to figure out why people get mesmerized standing in front of the washer watching their clothes go round-and-round.  There was one woman who actually held her hand to the glass on more than one washer, apparently getting her Zen on, while she watched the soapy water pour over her clothes.

It’s very peculiar.

Here's a really easy and tasty recipe I’m making for Christmas Eve -

  • Line the bottom of a pan with cream cheese - about ¼“ thick.
  • In a bowl combine cooked shredded chicken with hot sauce (to taste) and a stick of melted butter.
  • Pour the chicken mixture on top of the cream cheese and bake at 350 degrees for approx. 15 minutes or until hot.
  • Include whatever kind of crackers or chips you like and serve.  (I’m using the tortilla chips  that make a bowl shape to hold the filling.)

This would be great for football parties or any party where there’s lots of little munchies being served.

Whether you’re in the company of many or few - have a Wonderful Christmas!

See you in a few days.
